is this faucet 100% stainless steel for beer contact surfaces?
D on May 1, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Every part of this faucet that comes into contact with beverages is 100% stainless steel.
Are there replacement gaskets/seals available for these? I assume they do need to be replaced periodically but don't see any rebuild kits for sale.
Remi Bonnart on Apr 20, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately we do not stock or sell any rebuild kits or o-rings for these faucets. We do sell the gasket that connects to the shank (Faucet gasket D1200b). I've had one in continuous use for three years and have never had any issues. The construction is pretty solid which helps the gaskets from getting stressed unnecessarily.
Who is the manufacturer of this product, and where was it made?
Mr Derek Jehle on Nov 1, 2020
BEST ANSWER: These faucets are made by AMCO in China.
Does this come with the handle as pictured? Also, what is the difference between this model (D1231) and D1230?
Mick Jones on Feb 18, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Mick - These do not come with a handle. Regarding the difference between the two, D1231 has stainless parts that interact with beer, whereas D1230 is chrome.

Good Quality
As one other reviewer noted over 2 years ago...this product is actually not fully SS like advertised: it's SS with chrome plating on the outside (except the nozzle is all SS). I confirmed the package is the same product number as this. I guess having it on my tower, it does go well with my tower and Nukatap (and I have long SS handles that make pulling really nice). I'm not too rough, so it probably won't get scratches. You don't have to get another handle: it comes with a plastic chrome coated one.

Great for pouring stouts or nitro brews
Half of my faucets are these (three currently) and I'm thinking of changing one of the non-nitro faucets to one of these (making it 4 stout and two ale).

Only negative is they appear to drip once you stop pouring. I don't think it's leaking beer from behind the seals, but what's in the nozzle drips out after you're done. Might need to start leaving the glass under it for a few more minutes. But I do so LOVE to watch the cascade effect in the brews.

Nice faucet, false advertising, no answers from support.
It’s a nice faucet and so far works great. My issue and the reason it only get three stars is that it is advertised as stainless steel, no mention of chrome, but when it came the box said 304 stainless and chrome. I reached out to support for answers and they didn’t know anything but said they would research with the vendor and get back to me to let me know what parts, of any, were chrome. Never heard back. I am going to keep it because it was on sale and a great price, but I would still like answers and to see the description updated. You out there support peeps?!
