Description

This food grade nylon mesh bag is a handy tool for making cold brew coffee at home. Simply add coarse coffee grounds to the bag, pull the drawstring closed and not it, then add to your chosen vessel to steep the grounds in cool water for 12-16 hours.

Measures 18 in x 20 in, with hole size in mesh of approximatley 0.4-0.8 mm is size.

Works well for 1 Gallon Boil in a Bag brewing
I've used this bag for a couple of 1 gallon all grain brews. Fits my 9.5 inch diameter (2.5 gallon) kettle. Easily accommodates the 2-2.5 pounds of grain in my mash. I will be buying another in case I need an extra.

Worked well. Be sure you tie a firm knot if you are soaking fruit in your fermentation Cleaned pretty easy

Runs Small
The quality of the bag is good but be aware that the size runs small, the bag I received measured 17in x 19in which caused it to be just too small for my kettle. Not worth returning and having to pay the shipping cost to return plus the shipping cost to order the next size up.

Great grain bag

Bigger Bag Needed?
Wow, this is a big grain bag, but that is just the expected. This bag actually fits snugly around the lip of a 5 or 6.5 gallon plastic fermenter bucket. Got any friuty ideas for that?
