Description

This is a great addition to the equipment arsenal of any homebrewer!  Capable of weighing a full sack and then some, this scale will definitely ease your brew day. This is a benchtop unit with a 55lb capacity, lifetime warranty, and a host of helpful features.  We have been using this to weigh grains out for recipes, and love the simplicity of the unit.

BEST ANSWER: It will time out very quickly. You must program it, read the instructions...I learned the hard way.Then it becomes great accurate scale.

works great for weighing out grains
I keep this next to my bulk grain storage so weigh out what I need for my grain bill. Weigh the indivual ingrediants and put in a 5gal pail the day before brew day. I do wish the auto shut off timer was a little longer.

Good medium-duty scale
Accurate and reliable. I like the removable front display panel for weighing large objects, though it's a little tricky removing it.

Great for weighing grain, and determining how much CO2 is left in tanks.

Excellent and versatile scale!
I purchased this scale after my current digital scale failed on brew day resulting in using a small kitchen scale.
I appreciate the ability to plug it in or use batteries, the pill out readout for using large buckets to weigh grain. and the versatile options of units that use a separate button.

Perfect scale for measuring both hops and grain
This scale works well for measuring out hops and grain. The 0.1 oz resolution at weights under 2 pounds is great for hops, and the 0.5 oz resolution at weights over 2 pounds is perfect for measuring large grain bills. The stability feature is nice, letting you know when the scale has finished measuring. Overall, a great addition to the brew kitchen.

The front control panel takes a bit of finagling to remove. With time I’m sure it will be easier. It’s easy to use and read. Looking forward to weighing larger grain bills for brewing.

Great scale
I have only used it once so far, and it works great. It has a 10 year international warranty. The removable face is a great feature to have to see the display when your bucket is on the scale. The AC adaptor was included in the box as described in the "Key Features" listing (first line item).
