Cleaner - PBW (8 lbs)

This stuff cleans everything! Quickly!
It's been said over & over again about the virtues of BPW.
I'll add this; soaking commercial beer bottles for a couple hours in a strong solution will make those errant labels literally float off!
Nothing seems to stop BPW!

Very good at cleaning your brewing equipment and using it to soak bottles to get rid of labels. You can also store your solution for awhile and reuse it later.

It works great on all my brewing equipment and you'll find you can use for domestic tasks as well! The bigger container you buy the better the savings.

have a messy brewpot? a tablespoon of this stuff will make scrubbing a non factor. crusty fermenter? let PBW do the work. I have also used it to clean SS cookware my wife let boil dry and to get stubborn organic stains out of laundry. love this stuff.

I use it regularly for my fermentors and kegs, and it does a great job. It often removes stuff that I would miss from a visual inspection.

PBW is a fantastic cleaner. I use it on all of my equipment, bottles, kegs, lines, everything. High krausen comes off quickly with a warm soak. You can even reuse it, I clean my entire system with it and any kegs I have laying around before I toss it out.

PBW is very easy to use and will clean most any crud given a long enough contact time. It can be used in differing concentrations depending on what you are using it for. Works great with the keg and carboy cleaner. Simply add a couple of tablespoons to a gallon of hot water and within 30 minutes your kegs and carboys will shine like new.

what a lifesaver PBW is. everything comes out spotlessly clean. God bless the guy who invented it. If you aren't using it, you should. Saves so much time and effort with cleanup.

I've had some ugly bottle-residues that weren't relenting to water and brush until I soaked them in some PBW solution. The unexpected benefit was that it worked like DYNAMITE for removing the most-stubborn commercial labels.

It will make most bottle
labels fall off. It is a great cleaner.

PBW is awesome. All you have to do is mix 3/4 to 1 oz of PBW per gallon of hot water (you can go even less depending on what you are cleaning).
Brewing takes enough time as it is and cleaning is a big part of that. PBW takes all of the elbow grease and time out of cleaning.
I will fill up a corny keg with my PBW mix and then I will run some through my beer tap line. I will wait a half hour or so then transfer the PBW to something else so I can continue using it. I will rinse out the keg with hot water and when I am satisfied it is rinsed I will add a gallon or two of hot water to the keg and then run it through my tap until it is rinsed. Then after I santize the keg with Star San I run that through the tap as extra insurance that it is all clean, rinsed and sanitized.
