For the highest level of accuracy, you need the Brewmaster Precision Digital Scale. Most scales only measure down to 1/10th of a gram or 0.1 while this unit measures to the 1/100th of a gram or 0.01. This is the ideal scale for measuring brewing salts when you want your water profile to be as on point as possible. Also works well for hops, additives, or other measurements under 1 lb.

If you're not concerned about having this level or precision, or want a scale that also works well with measuring specialty grains, check out the Brewmaster Mini Digital Scale.

good product

I recommend this item. It works well for small weights such as potassium metabisulfite.

Amazing scale for a extremely reasonable price.

I love this little scale for brewing salts especially 0.01 gram reading is essential.

Great little scale

Needed a scale small enough to measure with .01 resolution. This scale does the job well seems very accurate. I would buy again.

How well does this work compared to the anvil scale? The anvil scale is slow and the numbers fluctuate even without putting anything more on the scale.

Mine works better than my anvil. Very solid readings

I haven’t tried the anvil scale but by looking at it I can see that these scales are for totally different applications. The capacity of the anvil scale is huge compared to this one which has a total capacity of only 500 grams (just over a pound). This scale is good for the price it’s very sensitive and therefore a little twitchy but seems consistent for measuring small amounts.

Conflict: Description says this scale auto corrects yet the instructions state it has a calibration function. Do I need weights?
