Nine years later....
I've had my roaster for over 9 years. Overall I'm very satisfied with its performance. It has not been abused or overly used. I've roasted about 115 batches. I keep the unit clean and do a "burn off" about every 5-7 roast cycles.
I believe my Cool cycle (fan) just went out today (fortunately I roast in the garage and just opened the door to let it cool).

One draw back to this machine is that it will not do a one pound batch. 1/2 pound at a time works with the maximum time given to roast. I believe the time limit is a safety feature.

Although the unit does a good job at reducing the smoke output, I'd still recommend roasting outside.

Overall it's a good machine.

Would recommend for the price
Write your review here. It must be at least 20 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or disI have had my Behmor for close to 6 years now. This is my third roaster having burned up two FreshRoasts. I recently replaced the bean basket because it was falling apart and discovered that they had already upgraded the construction to solve the problem I had. They have also upgraded the electronics. The Behmor yields consistent high quality roasts.

The only complaints that I have are that it is virtually impossible to adequately roast a full pound of coffee at once as advertised, smaller batches are required. This dovetails into my second complaint, the maximum roast times are often too short. I realize this is probably for safety purposes, but there could be other workarounds built into the system to allow for about it.

You might choose another
I have just had poor results with this machine perhaps because it's overly sensitive to voltage, however, I've done everything to combat this and yet the results have often been disappointing.

I'd rather use the Whirley than this machine. I'm actually going to sell mine for dirt cheap and revert to the Nesco available here.
