For use with our FIL45 series of plate filters. These pads will provide between 5-7 Micron filtration.

Each filter pad set is good for approximately 5 gallons of beer. These pads are not designed to be back flushed and reused and should be used in one session.

  • Filtered my wine perfectly. Wine came out super clear, love it!
  • Filtered the 5-gallons very quickly without any leaks
  • Works better than anticipated. This handled virtually everything that needed to be filtered

Filter pad worked great

I've used the finer pads in the past and my beer just clogs them up and beer leaks out all over the place due to higher pressure than the filter housing can handle. Going to these 5-7 micron pads worked so well and I filtered the 5-gallons very quickly without any leaks

Perfect filter level. Used 2x so far for a brown ale and a fruit ale.

Works better than anticipated

This handled virtually everything that needed to be filtered and is all you will need for meads wine or ales. Maybe a lager could use something finer but this will suit most people's needs. Do soak the filters (I used a weak Iodophor solution). Position carefully and tighten using the recommended procedures to assure a good fit.

I cold crash the beer then filter cold once with the polish pads and achieve a better clarity.
