Comes with a back nut, plastic collar, hex nut, and 8 mm Duotight Adapter compatible with EVABarrier 8 mm OD Tubing (D1717 & D1718). Requires a 1" hole saw for installation. When set in place, the shank will only have about 2 1/2" of length to pass through your wall or fridge door, due to the length of the collar and back nut.

Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.

Shank fits collar perfectly

Recently made the switch from a picnic tap to a real beer tap had several decisions to make including the shank. Contacted MoreBeer and they were a lot of help (thanks Zack!). I don't have a lot of room in my Keezer so I didn't want the shank to be too long so as recommended I went with the 4 inch that was also set up perfectly for EVA tubing. The collar on my Keezer is 2 1/4 inches thick (a 2x and a 1x) so the 4 inch fit perfectly. I use this shank with the non-FC Nukatap and a self closing spring.
