A traditional brush for cleaning 12 to 22oz beer bottles. Many customers like this design for its rounded bristles at the end of the brush that do a great job cleaning the lower half of the bottle.  Includes circular metal loop for hanging.  Bristles are 2.75" in diameter with an overall length of 16".

I should have replaced one of these a few years.

Soaking the bottles in sanitizer will help to remove any dirty film though that really is no fault of the brush as it does a good job reaching all sides of a bottle. My old brush looked pathetic.

Perfect for my Kombucha bottles

I searched locally for a decent bottle brush to clean my kombucha bottles (swing top) however nothing was available. So I bought this one. It is perfect. It cleans the narrow necked bottles perfectly without scratching. Highly recommend.

I do not make beer but I love these long handled bottle brushes. because the wire handle is very slim it fits inside of any size bottle or jar and cleans beautifully

Best Brush

Bottle Brush

I have a large assortment of bottles. I have found that 25 to 30% have mouths that I can barely jamb this brush into. On top of that it is a struggle to pull the brush back out. The rest work fine but I am thinking I am going to have to sort and discard the tight ones. I have also thought of modifying the brush by trimming the bristles but that would make it less efficient overall.

This thing works very well for cleaning my wine bottles. I straightened out the one in so I can put it into a cordless drill. So it makes Cleaning Out The Bottles really easy.

Great Wire Brush

This Brush is great for getting the stuck crud on the bottom of bottles. Heavy duty thick bristles that will get up any gunk or grime in those forgotten bottles. Would buy again.

I've found that some yeasts seem to leave a residue on the bottoms of bottles that doesn't rinse out with just simple rinsing and agitation. My experience with this style of brush is that there are only a few bristles that actually reach down to the bottom of the bottle and they don't do a decent job of removing the residue. Cleaning the bottom seems to be the hard part. Is this brush better and if so why?

I have also had this issue. This brush was a little better than others I tried but it was still an issue. There were still only a small clump of bristles that make it in the corner. I think it’s due to the shape of the bottle.. Soaking in cleaner like pbw for awhile will help also.

Tell ya what I do. I clip off the little loop at the top of the brush this allows me to put it in my battery operated drill. Stick it there put a little warm water in the bottle and go to town! Get's them spotless

Hi Roy. The brush is indispensable in my cleaning process. I’ve brewed for 36 years and have learned to deal with any crud by “pre-soaking the bottle bottoms with just enough bleach to cover the bottom (overnight). Happy brewing.

Roy I keep my bottles in great shape by following a pattern of cleaning. After drinking home brew I rinse the bottle hang it on the beer tree. Later I get several bottles and use my stainless steel bottle washer with very hot water. PBW is great for loosening sediment 45 min soak. Rinse again then use the beer bottle brush for anything stubborn that won’t come clean. I usually spin it back and forth several times and have had very good results. If you are hoping this brush will clean your bottles w/o a good rinse and soak you will remain a skeptic.
