This shank is meant to work with Duotight fittings. You can try this with standard tubing with a hose clamp tightly securing the tube though without the regular ridges of the barb it may be easy for the tubing to slip off or leak.

Yes. I have one connected to a nukatap and one hooked to an intertap. No issues there. I did have to slightly widen the holes in my tower however. The diameter of the threads was just a little bigger than the old standard barbed ones I had.

Yes. The will fit all intertap models of faucets.

Unfortunately we do not sell separately the gooseneck which fits the duotight fittings. The best option will be to install a short piece of tubing over your existing shank barb onto which you will install an appropriate duotight fitting. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I suppose you could? It really depends on how tight a space you're working with in your tower. I went this route out of convenience ease and assurance I'd be able to fit it in.

I received the shank today and it fit my 630SS perfectly

It absolutely does fit the Perlick model 630 SS faucets - I have 11 of them that says it does. It's a standard shank and would be bonkers not to work. I have not tried with older models but I see no reason it would not work considering my older Perlick models work with the same shank that my 630 models work. By association they must be the same - 630 fits this shank 630 also fits standard shank older Perlick fits same standard shank - QED older Perlicks must also fit this shank. Also note that other sites list it as compatible - it's only MoreBeer that says it is not.

The Intertap shank with the standard barb apparently IS compatible with Perlick faucets (according to comments on its MoreBeer page. Why would this one be different?

My Intertap faucet fits my kegerator shank but my regular faucet doesn’t fit the Intertap shank. The threads are just a little different. I love the Duotight fittings for my Crorny’s and plan to change my Sanke tap Duotight soon. Only a couple of adapter fittings are required.

I originally thought the threads would be the same. They are not. I bought a keg line cleaning kit and the fitting fits a seals fine on both the Intertap shank and the standard shank on my kegerator

The splines do not match up. You will not be able to get your Perlick seated properly on the shank. The threads match up fine but it will not seal. The inter-tap faucets fit perfectly but they’re a bit janky without the self-closing spring installed.

I haven’t tried to put my Intertap faucet on to the other standard faucet location on my tower but you are right the thread should be compatible. Intertap faucets are supposed to be standard. I like the Duotight fittings a lot. I’m sure if you had problems MoreBeer would take stuff back.

Your perlick faucet is a little bit bigger than the inter tap beer faucet. The threads wont line up.

A step drill bit is the perfect bit for enlarging holes. We sell one or you can pick up a cheap one from a local hardware store. The fewer times you plan on using it the less you can spend. Otherwise a small file and some elbow grease can probably get the job done in a matter of minutes.

Use a rat tail file to enlarge the hole. It does not require much effort.

I had to use a step drill bit to open mine up a tiny bit.
