Extremely useful. I only use to recirculate wort for chilling but am looking forward to incorporating RIMS someday.

This has been by far the best investment yet for my home brewery! I no long have to try to pick up and pour 5 gallons of hot water into my mash tun. Really saves the back! Helps speed up cooling times when used with my MoreBeer 50' wort chiller with recirculating feature. I highly recommend this pump.

My first one arrived with the inlet-side fitting of the pump head broken in shipping but MoreBeer speedily replaced it for free (I just included a photo in the email.) Replacing the head was easy. I also see some occasional cavitation issues if the wort is boiling but the venting valve works well along with a quick power-cycle to let the head re-fill with liquid. I've used it to do a HE-RIMS mash post-boil whirlpools and to power wort through my heat-exchanger coil/chiller.

This is THE pump for homebrewing! Been using it for 2 years now and it has never let me down. Easy to use ample power no leaks.

i do have small cavitaion issues but i belive this more to user error than the fault of the pump. Rolling boils can create bubbles that get sucked down and into the pump. simply turn off for a sec and it works great again. I have a 52 quart cooler for a mash tun and with this puppy i can recirc the mash with an attached heat exchanger and then step up the heat from my Hot liq tank!

I have purchased this pump to use with my SuperChiller and Recir arm. With both products I'm able to chill at a much faster rate. Also glad to have the option to purchase with the fittings already on this pump so I don't have to mess with trying to get the seed correctly.

This pump assembly works like a champ. I have never used a pump and I mounted below my boil kettle and it primed nicely. Moved the heated water to my HLT and Mash Tun with no effort. The valves installed worked and didn't leak. Overall I am so happy to have this pump!

I use these pumps for my RIMS system (15 Gallon HLT MT and 20 Gallon Boil Kettle). Great pumps and have had zero problems. The only thing I find a bit challenging is that they are way overpowered for my brewhouse. This just means that I have to keep the valves near closed to get the flow rates I want and adjustments are a bit sensitive. Works great in combination with my Blichmann autosparge which allows me to open the valve to the pump all the way and let the autosparge regulate flow.

Works great. Highly recommended. I have 3 will buy more as needed.

I held off getting this piece of equipment for a long time. Was doing 14.5 gallon brews without a pump and straining my back. This is a great product to help in transfers and in cooling down your wort. Priming issues can be frustrating but after a couple times you will get it down.

Once the pump is primed it works great. I definitely recommend the quick disconnects to allow for reconfiguring hoses or easily dismantling the system for cleaning. Just be careful of how high you want it to pump liquid.

I recently moved up to ten gallon batches. I couldn't imagine brewing again without this pump. I should have bought this years ago. You might be able to find something a little cheaper but this is a good quality pump well worth the price.

I honestly don't know what I would do without this product. It makes transferring the wort from my mashtun to my kettle much easier and I don't have to lift a full kettle onto the burner or have to stand on a ladder to mix my mash. I have also cut my chilling time in half using the pump as a whirlpool chiller. The only draw back is the pump head is plastic and the fittings are metal. You have to be very careful when taking the fittings on and off so you do not cross thread them. Is it possible to replace the head with a stainless steal head?

This pump works great. I use it throughout the process (pump-over transfer ...). I put a 3/8 barb on the "air-bleed" valve and ran a hose to the ground and away from the brewing area so I can bleed the pump without getting liquid everywhere. My question - can this pump be mounted in any direction? I noticed some "oil here" holes on the motor and wonder if those need to stay up-right? I want to get it off the ground and on the brew-stand.
