Afraid all I could do was pry up the analog gauge gently with a knife blade under gauge ring. Only bent a little and easily bent back.

Remove the 2 screws and with the tip of them or with some other pointed tool that you can enter through the screw holes and using a little leverage you remove both corners at the same time. You must be firm apply a little force but not too much so as not to break it.

It pulls right out. Use needle nose pilers and grab the center of the gauge by the black indicator arrow thing.

Put back the screws but don’t tighten it; just put in position and then try to join the screws heads and pull it from the heads. This is the best way to remove the analog gauge since it has a o-ring in the back that’s the reason why it is secured in your position.

I did exactly what you are proposing. If you are not planning to use the analog gauge afterwards go ahead and pull on its innards all you want. You will not hurt the BlowTie itself. Otherwise honestly just pull gently.

I don't recommend this.

I haven't used it below 34°F and no more than for two weeks. Didn't have any problems. I didn't check out if the cold changes the accuracy in any way.

It works in my keezer set at 38 degrees. You may want to contact Kegland

They won’t work well inside a keezer it will be very hard to read the display

I've got 3 in my fridge around 35'F and I've never had any issues. They work wonderfully

I have one in my fridge and it works just fine. I would say just don't leave it on all the time or the battery will run down quickly

Yes it will work fine. But depending on the angle of view it mind be difficult to read. Mount it so you can view it as close as possible to straight on. You may need a flashlight to assist with reading if the angle is too much.

Absolutely - I use mine for cold crashing at 34F as well as in my kegerator at 43F

Mine works fine. Digits are a little dimmed but once.the backlight is active it is readable.

I have it in my kegerator at around 40F no issues whatsoever.
