I use these on used 'Pepsi' 5 gallon corny kegs as part of my normal rebuild process. They work very well and I have had no issue with them. I will buy more if & when I need them.

The "lip" on the beer out connector is a little larger/taller than on the gas out.

The only difference is the outside grooves on the gas in connector. They are the same otherwise poppets are the same and if needed you could use either of them them for gas in or beer out.

See the notch on the lower half all the way around ? That is to distinguish the GAS IN from the BEER OUT.. the quick disconnects will not work when switched Gray QD - GAS BLACK QD - beer

While the gas-in and the beer-out connectors look the same their geometry is different. They will only fit with their respective disconnects.

The gas and liquid side fittings are slightly different do you don’t mix em up.

The gas in connector has a notch on the corners of the flats on the nut portion where the beer outs are smooth and flat. It is used to help identify which one is what so you don't accidentally connect them to your draft system backwards. Things don't work so well then! Cheers!!

The one shown in the picture has cut marks on the peaks of each of the 6 corners. This is for the Gray Gas connector. The ones without the cut marks are for the black liquid line connectors. The connectors are different the black liquid line will not fit on the connector for the gray gas line.

Hi Glenn they are slightly different sizes it appears to me. You can’t put the beer out connector into the gas in or vice versa. Hope this helps

Very slightly different shape. They are noticeably different when you try to push a liquid ball lock onto a gas post.

The liquid connector doesn't have the indentations on the corners of the hexagon. The sides of the two connectors are machined differently as to make it more difficult to connect to the wrong QD
