The "Doserless" Model:
The Rocky comes standard with or without a "doser". This doserless model comes with a stainless bar just below the chute - and acts as a stand for your portafilter (or any container into which you want to grind your coffee, for that matter). As handy as it is, it is also easily removable allowing you to grind directly into something larger, like a brew basket. The doserless model has the added benefit of being easier to clean as there are less parts to disassemble.
*A doser is a device that attaches to the grinder chute and allows you to "click" specific amounts of ground coffee into your portafilter (or anything else for that matter).
