The original Italian method of brewing espresso, this is the machine that Italians use when they don't go to the Cafe for a shot. This 6-cup all stainless steel espresso moka pot works like a charm.
The pot itself unscrews at its middle where a small stainless screen can be found. You can remove the screen, add your water to the bottom chamber, replace the screen and add finely ground coffee to it, then screw the whole unit together and place it on the stovetop.
As the water boils in the lower chamber, steam pushes its way through the coffee grounds and up into the pot, creating a very rich "espresso" brew.
