The HotTop also features superior cooling of the beans - they are dumped directly into an external tray and agitated...something that no other roaster offers.
You get temperature and time readouts and handy "beeps" to notify you of when you need to add beans, and when the cooling cycle is about to end. And to top it all off, the roaster has a pre-heat cycle which ensures that your coffee always starts off at the same roasting temperature. This leads to consistent roast levels across the board.
