The Hearthware Burr Grinder Deluxe is a great way to grind your freshly roasted coffee at home. Burr grinders have a number of advantages over traditional blade-type grinders. The beans are crushed instead of chopped with a blade using two interlocking and adjustable plates (or burrs). This ensures a consistent grind each time - instead of the uneven and difficult to reproduce bits that blade grinders produce. In addition, you can easily set the number of cups you want to grind for, press the start button and walk away - the grinder will stop when finished grinding. Blade grinders typically require you to hold a button and wait while it grinds.
