Java, a large island in the Indonesian archipelago, is home to a very distinct coffee. The island is one of 13,677 islands in the world's largest archipelago - with only about 6,000 of the islands actually having people on them. Java has around 50 volcanos, 17 of which have only recently gone dormant - and where there is volcanically rich soil there is bound to be good coffee (in the right longitude and latitude, that is).

Great body; versatile

Javanese coffee is well known for its super heavy body and relatively neutral flavor profile, making it incredibly versatile and unique for blending - but great by itself, as well.

You can blend this bean well with just about anything, but coffees with a more vibrant acidity like Yemen Mocca (a famous blend) or Kenya will go really well with it.

Current Offers:
Medium depth and strong body work with medium+ acidity to create a thoroughly balanced cup.
