Tasting Notes from The Coffee Guy: In aroma I get roasty nutty notes with hints of clove. In flavor, I get an intense nuttiness that carries all the way through; very full and rich. The nuttiness is like roasted cashews and almonds and as the flavors subside, the nuttiness and sweetness stays there. Lots of chocolate too. I get light acidity/brightness and medium body. Recommended Roast Level(s): * Run your mouse over the roast chart for more detail * Roasting Notes: At a Full City, I get really nice nuttiness - roasted cashews. The flavor is very balanced and pleasant. The acidity is light+ and livens up the cup really well. There is a nice crispness to the overall cup, too. In the background, I get a very low level of ripe fruit. Medium body. At a French Roast, there is a nice roast balance and silky body - and the overall cup is very clean. But I feel it loses the nutty complexity and brightness at this darker roast. I'd stick with a Full City on this coffee. | |||||||||||||
