Mocca Java Blend This blend is actually made up of two coffees - Indonesian Java (known for its full body and chocolate notes, but also for its relative simplicity) and Yemen Mocca (known for its fruit and blueberry notes and relative complexity - but lacking a full body). When you blend the two, you get a perfect blend in which each of the component coffees perfectly complement each other. Light+ brightness and medium- body. The flavors fade to a nice roasty vanilla. Very nice. Find similar coffees! Design your own blend with this coffee! Recommended Roast Level(s): * Run your mouse over the roast chart for more detail * Roasting Notes: At a Full City, there is a full blueberry note that comes through in this coffee - very full and rich. Nice chocolate notes and an elegant brightness that fades into the background well. There is a pefumey character to the aromatics and this is complemented by a slight tartness that makes the cup refreshing. The body is full and silky. At a French Roast the spice and roasty/nutty notes come through nicely in the aroma...with the brightness dissipating just slightly. The body thickens slightly and the blueberries still come through nicely. The cup is very full and sweet with th sweetness carrying through nicely in the aftertaste. The French Roast is very nice too. At a both a Full City+ and French Roast espresso, there is a very full body and the blueberries come through well. There is a light acid with nice honeyed-sweetness with an almost candied dimension. Very nice. At a darker roast, the roasty notes will dominate. At a Full City, the sweeter candy notes will come out more. | |||||||||
