The unroasted coffee we carry is among the best in the world. We can say this with certainty because we "cup" (or sample) the best the industry has to offer on a nearly daily basis. It would certainly be easy to just say to our importers, "just send us whatever you think is good" and put it up for sale... But that would be cheating. Although the coffee would most likely be free of glaring defects, it wouldn't always be "Wow!". And that's what we strive to carry: "Wow!" coffees.

The raw coffee we carry is a product of careful sampling, analysis and approval. You know that you are getting the best there is out there because each new lot gets our stamp of approval. You know that you are getting what you pay for.



Latin America


Brazil - Known for having creamy body, rich nuttiness, chocolate and nice brightness.

COF231: Brazil Fazenda Aurea Nat. 17/18 - Sweet and spicy - nice nuttiness. Very full body, med acidity. Mild caramel and chocolate notes, pleasant lingering aftertaste.

El Salvador - Nice fruit notes and bright acid and full body - a direct result of the rich volcanic soils El Salvador coffees are grown in. Spiced chocolate flavors come through well.

COF206: El Savador Santa Rita - Slight spice/almond nuttiness in aroma. Bright flavor, great sweetness/caramel notes. Full body, ultra smooth. Very pleasant to drink

Guatemala - Resonant and clean brightness and full body with fruit and smoke flavors shining through well. Excellent sweetness and complexity in flavor.

COF208: Guatemalan Candelaria, SHB - Sweet, fruity, spicy, light smokiness - full bodied, med+ acidity and very clean aftertaste. Great Guatemalan coffee!

COF249: Guatemalan Finca Bourbon, BF - Pleasantly fruity with a classic Guatemalan light smokiness. Juicy acidity, med. body, and a very clean aftertaste.

Mexico - Grown at very high altitudes, these coffees bring a classy brightness and mildness to the cup. Chocolate and citrus notes come through well - sure to be a great all around crowd pleaser!

COF252: Fair Trade Mexican Rama Santa Cruz - Very smooth - light nuttiness, some floral/mint notes, slight honey-like sweetness. Very clean and somewhat dry finish.

Nicaragua - "Nics" have a similar brightness, fruited complexity and full body as coffees from El Salvador, Guatemala and Costa Rica as they are very close geographically. It's easy to get lost in their depth!

COF251: Fair Trade Nicaraguan Los Angeles - Black pepper and pineapple with a light candylike sweetness - light nutty flavor, buttery mouthfeel, clean and dry finish.

Far & Middle East


Papua New Guinea - Very diverse coffees - sometimes rich in spice - that can range from high to low acid. “PNG” coffees (as they are referred to by coffee traders) typically have full body.

COF282: Papua New Guinea - RS Decaf - Brown sugar, nuts, strawberry, watermelon, nice sweetness; very full and round. Hints of cotton candy. Light+ brightness and very full body.

Sumatra - A bold coffee with rich earth notes in aroma and flavor. A huge body with bitter-sweet chocolate, caramel, and restrained fruit notes along with a twinkle of brightness.

COF224: Sumatra Sidikalang Tabu Jamu - Sweet and cedary - bright clean acidity, med+ body, and a pleasant but lingering aftertaste.
