Indonesia Sumatra Decaf WP This Sumatra is nice. We're not going to make much of a point about it being decaf, because it's hard to tell that it's decaf without seeing the green beans (decaf beans are always kind of brown looking due to the method of decaffeination). The flavor and complexity is there without the funk of your normal decaf - due to this coffee being processed via the new Mexican Water Process decaffeination method. Tasting Notes from The Coffee Guy: In aroma, I get nice chocolate notes with a slight spice character and hints of nuttiness. In flavor, that nuttiness comes through well with a background of ripe-fruit. I also get a bit of caramel and nice sweetness. Very clean aftertaste, too. Light brightness/acidity and full body.
