Indonesia Sumatra Decaf WP This Sumatra is nice. We're not going to make much of a point about it being decaf, because it's hard to tell that it's decaf without seeing the green beans (decaf beans are always kind of brown looking due to the method of decaffeination). The flavor and complexity is there without the funk of your normal decaf - due to this coffee being processed via the new Mexican Water Process decaffeination method. Tasting Notes: In aroma, I get nice chocolate notes with a slight spice character and herbal hints. In flavor, that fruitiness (raspberry) comes through well with a background of an almost malty sweetness. Clean, very slightly lingering aftertaste, too. Light brightness/acidity and full body.
