Kenya Peaberry Torrarum Kenya coffee is well known for it's vibrant acidity. Lively, vibrant, rich, resonant, lemony...these are all words you will hear used when describing this incredible coffee. And this peaberry doesn't let you down. it's an estate coffee - a place called Tinganga, Kiambu and you can tell it's been taken care of. And it's a peaberry. For those of you unfamiliar with peaberries, they are a relative rarity in nature. The coffee cherry typically has two beans inside. The peaberry cherry (on a normal tree with other normal two bean cherries on the same plant) only develops with one bean inside. The bean is smaller and rounder and roasts differently because of its size. Lots of people swear that peaberries taste better and smoother and are more flavorful. If this were the only peaberry you ever tasted, you might tend to agree. Download Kenya Peaberry Torrarum Info PDF for your notes! Click here to compare this coffee with another of our coffees! Tasting Notes from Casey "The Coffee Guy": In aroma, I get sweet green apple notes and this carries into the flavor of green apple, vanilla and black currant. Very nice sweetness to the cup and great balance. The acidity is medium- and the body is a full. Very nice with great balance. Find similar coffees! Design your own blend with this coffee!
