The age old process

There are many ways to make coffee. Unfortunately, the most common way of making coffee today, the humble drip filter brewer, sometimes lacks the ability to properly extract the best flavors and aromas from your specialty coffee due to the fact that the water doesn't get above 180 degrees when passing through the grounds (the optimal is at about 200 degrees - something that only the best and most expensive machines can do). At MoreCoffee! we offer a variety of tools to brew coffee the correct way - and produce coffee at it's peak of flavor.

Brewing Methods:
French Press An excellent way to brew rich, aromatic coffee. There is no filter, per-se, in this method - only a fine mesh screen. As such, the final brew has more aroma and flavor compounds that would otherwise be stripped out by the paper filter. You also control the temperature at which the water is poured in as well as the brewing time.
Vacuum Brewer A style of brewing designed in the 1920's, the vacuum brewing method is a marvel of coffee brewing engineering. Brew coffee with the flavor and aroma of a french press, but without the solids at the bottom of the cup. It's also endlessly interesting to watch brew!
Espresso Brewer Espresso without the $400 dollar machine. This is what Italians use at home - when they don't feel like going out to a coffee. Brew a remarkably strong cup quickly and easily.
Single Serve Don't worry about making an entire pot - make just enough for yourself. Our single serve brewers are great for a quick morning, camping, or anything else where simplicity is key.
Swiss Gold Filters Swiss Gold Filters are world renowned for their "top of the line" gold filter technology. Gold filters are reusable, impart no flavor to the coffee, allow perfect resistance for the perfectly extracted cup and are designed to be portable and lightweight. Drop one in your current coffee maker - or even make a direct-pour pot of coffee! Simply put the filter directly over a carafe and adding just off the boil water to the grounds.

*New* AeroPress Method This new and innovative way to brew coffee makes an excellent cup. It produces a very strong brew to which water can be added or even taken straight-up. The result is a unique cup with very low bitterness.
