| Casey toured Laos in 2005 and had a great time in the coffee producing region - a bit south of Vientienne in the middle part of the country. He rented a motorbike (for something like $4 bucks a day!) and rode all around the Bolivan Plateau. The roadsides were scattered with coffee cherries drying in the sun (the natural processing method), little kids playing together naked in the streets and waved excitedly as he passed by, and the aroma of freshly roasted coffee wafting past at every stop...Enjoy the pictures. |
