Rwanda is getting a lot of publicity as of late, due to the Starbucks entry into the country. That's not a bad thing. The Starbucks folks create infrastructure and we wouldn't be surprised if we saw quite a bit more coffee coming from the country in the upcoming years.
This lot is different from the wild and intense lot of last year. This Fair Trade lot has slightly less of the "East African Flavor" intensity, but it's got quite a bit more going on in the cup. Rwanda lots are few and far between and as such, when I find a good lot I don't wait around. You never know when the next will arrive! Click here to compare this coffee with another of our coffees!
